Event/Course Description

The University Computing Center (Srce), as the leader of the national consortium for the establishment of the Croatian Competence Center for HPC, is organizing a one-day online workshop "Using the Isabella Computer Cluster" to be held on June 14, 2022, from 9 am to 3 pm.

The Isabella computer cluster consists of 135 computer nodes containing a total of 3100 processor cores and 12 NVIDIA Tesla V100 graphics processors as a common resource of all scientists in the Republic of Croatia and is intended for performing complex calculations for research projects. In this workshop, participants will learn about working on a computer cluster by showing Heart's storage and preparation of data for processing, selection of software environments, execution and monitoring of user applications through job management systems and monitoring the execution of applications and computer nodes.

Prerequisites for participation in the workshop are possession of electronic identity in the AAI @ EduHr system and basic knowledge of working with the Linux operating system.
