Event/Course Description
The National Institute for Research & Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest organized on October 12, 2021, the event "HPC - High Performance Computing in Romania: perspectives, challenges and opportunities."
The event was divided into three sessions, the first being dedicated to familiarizing the Romanian audience with the HPC field. The other two sessions were dedicated to the public administration and SMEs, with NVIDIA representatives providing training for each of the two sectors.
In the first session, the topics covered a wide range of areas that benefit from the applicability of HPC, ranging from exploratory research to aerospace and academic research.
