In this workshop we will help you getting started on the VSC clusters, Austria's most powerful super- computers. With running and developing software on a supercomputer there are many similarities and fewer but crucial differences compared to your desktop workstation, your own on-premises systems, or the cloud. Focusing on hands-on teaching throughout the course, you will immediately try out what you've heard and adapt it to your own needs. There will also be enough time to explore your own workflows and evaluate how to make best use of the computing power offered by VSC for you.

As the background of your team might be quite diverse, we'll start from beginners level (the first steps on a supercomputer) and go on to intermediate and advanced topics as far and as deep as requested (to provide some new insights also for the more experienced staff that already know how to use compute clusters).
