An interdisciplinary research centre dedicated to nanoscience and nanotechnology at the frontier of basic and applied research. The emphasis in research is on cutting-edge experimental techniques and modelling tools, novel concepts, and close collaboration with academia. Istituto Nanoscienze is based in Pisa and in Modena.
