Event/Course Description

The course is an introduction to the open-source computational fluid dynamics framework OpenFOAM, which will be shown the typical workflow of numerical modeling: pre-processing, computation, post-processing. It will be shown such use in HPC (High-Performance Computing) environment for the creation and/or import of real geometries of engineering use, with numerical modeling of increasing complexity. Examples of comparisons with ISV codes will be shown.

Topics:

Computational Fluid Dynamics
