NCC Montenegro drives supercomputing opportunities for smart businesses
Through a strategic series of workshops and industry events, NCC Montenegro is equipping companies with the tools, resources and know-how to leverage HPC and AI for real-world innovation. In just the past quarter, NCC Montenegro delivered three high-impact industry workshops, each designed to help businesses understand, apply, and benefit from supercomputing technologies.
๐น 1. Supercomputing Opportunities for Industry Leaders (April 2025)
In cooperation with ICT Cortex, NCC Montenegro organized an industry event that brought together IT companies and innovation leaders to share peer insights on how supercomputers can address complex AI challenges. From Alicornโs AI engine for smart domain name generation and Flekaโs ML-based Fintech personalization, to PAID MNEโs stock-trading simulations on LUMI and Uhuraโs document automation intelligence trained on Leonardo, the message was clear: Supercomputing is no longer out of reach for Montenegrin companies.

๐น 2. HPC and Industrial Cooperation โ Opportunities and Perspectives (May 2025)
In cooperation with the IT Society, NCC Montenegro organized a two-day industry workshop in the inspiring mountain setting of ลฝabljak, blending HPC business opportunities with community building and matchmaking activities. More than 25 SME representatives participated in HPC/AI brainstorming sessions, use case discussions, and technical consultations, engaging directly with NCC experts who provided tailored support through HPC demos and practical guidance.

๐น 3. Power Your Ideas with Supercomputers (June 2025)
In cooperation with the Science and Technology Park, Podgorica, NCC Montenegro organised an industry event targeting tech start-ups and digital entrepreneurs. The workshop focused on real-world HPC/AI use cases, the HPC4SME assessment process, and opportunities through EuroHPC open calls and FF Plus business experiment funding.
