From predictive analytics and artificial intelligence models to increasingly complex simulations, advanced AI applications are opening up new opportunities for businesses, while also requiring ever-greater computing resources. The webinar will provide an opportunity to explore and discuss how artificial intelligence and supercomputing can benefit businesses, addressing some key questions for organisations looking to adopt these technologies:
- How can businesses access HPC resources without investing in their own infrastructure?
- What opportunities and support programmes are currently available at national and European level?
- What skills and expertise are needed to make the most of these resources?
- Which use cases can deliver a real, measurable impact on business performance in terms of time, costs and innovation capabilities?
Building on these questions, the event will bring together experts and representatives from organisations operating within the Italian supercomputing ecosystem, offering complementary perspectives on available infrastructures, support services and industrial applications of HPC.
ICSC – Italian Research Centre on High Performance Computing, Big Data and Quantum Computing will explore the role of research and national computing infrastructures; EuroCC Italy will present the services and support opportunities available to help businesses adopt HPC; and E4 Computer Engineering will share its expertise in developing high-performance computing solutions. The auticon AI&HPC team will also present practical examples and real-world use cases, demonstrating the potential of supercomputing in business environments.
Bringing Supercomputing Closer to Businesses: The Role of EuroCC Italy
As the National Competence Centre for HPC and part of the European EuroCC network, EuroCC Italy works to promote the uptake and adoption of high-performance computing technologies across Italy’s business sector, with a particular focus on small and medium-sized enterprises. Through training, guidance and technical support, EuroCC Italy helps businesses access the expertise and opportunities offered by the national and European supercomputing ecosystem, supporting them in understanding the potential of HPC and identifying possible areas of application.
