NCC Ireland will deliver a hands-on Introduction to Quantum Programming Workshop led by ICHEC Quantum Scientists Pablo Suarez Vieites and Karthik Krishnakumar at PyCon Ireland on 21 November in Dublin.
The purpose of this workshop is to provide an accessible introduction to some fundamental concepts behind quantum computing. We will begin by exploring the basic theoretical principles of quantum computation, including qubits, superposition, measurement, and then progress to programming building blocks - quantum gates, circuits and simulators. These concepts will then be reinforced through a hands-on coding session, allowing participants to write and run simple quantum programs in a Python-based quantum computing framework.
