How are High-Performance Computing (HPC), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and data technologies driving innovation in research, industry, and public services? Find out at SLING Days 2026, the annual event taking place on 17–18 November 2026 at Hotel Mons, Ljubljana, Slovenia.
On Tuesday, 17th November, a meeting with NCCs and AIFs will take place (closed event).
On Wednesday, 18th November, a programme dedicated to the industry, public administration and research will be offered.
Co-organised by the Slovenian AI Factory (SLAIF) and the National Competence Centre for High-Performance Computing – NCC SLING, this year's event will once again bring together researchers, technology experts, industry representatives, public authorities, and everyone interested in the latest technological developments and, above all, their practical application.
As Artificial Intelligence continues to evolve rapidly and the demand for advanced computing capabilities grows, High-Performance Computing has become a key enabler of innovation, competitiveness, and digital transformation. SLING Days 2026 offers a unique opportunity to explore the latest technological advances, connect with leading experts, and learn about the services, programmes, and support mechanisms that provide companies, research organisations, and public institutions with access to cutting-edge European and Slovenian digital infrastructures.
This year's programme will place particular emphasis on:
- Practical applications of High-Performance Computing and Artificial Intelligence in research, industry, and public administration;
- Services provided through the European AI Factories initiative and the National Competence Centre for High-Performance Computing (NCC SLING);
- Knowledge transfer and collaboration between research organisations and industry;
- Funding opportunities and support mechanisms for the development of advanced digital solutions.
The event will also provide numerous networking opportunities, enabling participants to connect with key national and European organisations that facilitate access to HPC infrastructure, specialised expertise, and innovation ecosystems.
SLING Days 2026 will serve as an important meeting point for knowledge, technology, and collaboration, fostering the wider adoption of advanced digital solutions and strengthening cooperation between science, industry, and society.
Participation is free of charge, but registration is mandatory.
The event is organised within the framework of the EuroCC3 and SLAIF projects.
