The Latvian High-Performance Computing (HPC) Competence Centre “SuperS” invites SMEs to a morning seminar, “Supercomputer Breakfast, on November 28, from 09:00 to 10:30, at the House of Science, University of Latvia, Jelgavas Street 3, Riga.

During the event, participants will enjoy coffee and snacks while exploring opportunities to leverage supercomputing power and artificial intelligence (AI) tools in business and organizational projects.

The seminar’s goal is to provide practical insights into how HPC infrastructure and the European AI Factory network can help:

  • Reduce costs and risks in innovative product development,
  • Accelerate modeling, analysis, and automation processes,
  • Gain access to European supercomputing resources and support programs.

Key program highlights:

  • Latest updates on supercomputing and available project funding,
  • The AI solution development process and practical examples,
  • Resources offered by “AI Factory Antenna – Latvia (AIFA-LAT)”.

Kārlis Muižnieks, Head of the Numerical Modeling Centre at the University of Latvia, emphasizes:

“Supercomputers are no longer just a tool for scientists – they are available to businesses to speed up product development, foster innovation, and reduce costs. In this seminar, we will show how to start using supercomputers and AI solutions in practice, and how to attract European funding to turn ideas into competitive products.”

Participation in “Supercomputer Breakfast” is possible both on-site and online. The event is free of charge, but prior registration is required: https://bit.ly/Superdatoru_brokastis.
