A distinguished expert in computer science and technology ethics from Mälardalen University (Sweden) and Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden), Prof. Gordana Dodig-Crnković, PhD, will deliver an online lecture “AI Ethics: Navigating the White-Water World with Digital Humanism” on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, starting at 10:15.

The lecture will address the complexities of our hyper-connected, rapidly changing technological reality and the accelerating impact of artificial intelligence and emerging intelligent technologies. Instead of focusing solely on dystopian or utopian scenarios, participants will be encouraged to reflect on humane, value-based futures.

Through a combination of speculative design, systems thinking, and real-world challenges—such as the ethics of autonomous vehicles—the lecture emphasises the responsibility and active engagement of humans in shaping technology for democratic, fair, and sustainable outcomes. Digital humanism is thus placed at the very core of this transformative era.

📌 The lecture is intended for participants from academia and research, industry, and public institutions, and will be held in English.
💡 Participation is free of charge, but registration is required via the online form.
⏳ Registration deadline: Monday, October 13, 2025.
