The aim is to train engineers who, having acquired a high level of scientific and specific technical knowledge in the field of informatics, are capable of designing new IT systems and tools, developing and integrating IT systems, carrying out and coordinating R&D tasks in the field of informatics, and pursuing their studies in the framework of a PhD.
The main professional areas of training are: Theoretical foundations with a computer science orientation (discrete mathematics, languages and compilers, code theory, algorithm theory, formal methods, computational theory, artificial intelligence), real-time and safety-critical computer systems, programming theory, software development, database management, data mining, software quality assurance, distributed systems, Internet and Web technologies, software development for Web applications, enterprise and management information systems, information process data warehousing.
