The course aims to familiarize participants with the various methods and approaches for performing distributed computations using the infrastructures available in Bulgaria and Europe, such as Grid and the Avitohol supercomputer, as well as servers equipped with powerful graphics cards. The options for access, performing computational tasks, and data storage will be considered. Various methods for distributing the computations will be tested when multiple servers are used simultaneously. It will be possible to use either codes developed by the participants or popular open-source applications. The participants should be familiar with at least one programming language, preferably C/C++ or Python. A course work will be required.
