Event/Course Description

This course provides an introduction to creating interactive visualisations in Python, with a focus on using the Plotly and Bokeh libraries. In this two-day course, you will gain both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience with these technologies, enabling you to create dynamic and interactive graphs and visualisations of your data. The Microsoft Windows operating system is used throughout the course.


Day 1: Plotly

1. Introduction to interactive visualisation
Basic interactive visualisation concepts and terminology
Comparison of traditional graphical tools with modern libraries like Plotly
2. Introduction to Plotly
Introduction to the Plotly library and its benefits
Install and set up the environment
3. Creating basic charts in Plotly

Day 2: Bokeh
