NCC Portugal supports the adoption of advanced computing technologies by connecting users with expertise, training, services and computing resources available in Portugal and across Europe.
The Portuguese National Competence Centre (NCC Portugal) is Portugal's gateway to advanced computing technologies within the European EuroCC 3 initiative.
Coordinated by the National Advanced Computing Centre (CNCA), NCC Portugal brings together leading national institutions to support researchers, businesses, public administrations and other organisations in adopting High-Performance Computing (HPC), High-Performance Data Analytics (HPDA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The Centre provides access to expertise, training, consultancy and national and European computing resources, helping users identify the most appropriate technologies, services and infrastructures for their needs. By connecting national capabilities with the wider European HPC ecosystem, NCC Portugal contributes to strengthening digital skills, fostering innovation and accelerating the adoption of advanced computing across Portugal.
NCC Portugal is part of the European network of National Competence Centres established under the EuroCC initiative, which currently brings together 36 participating countries working towards a more competitive, innovative and digitally sovereign Europe.
