We’re excited to announce the upcoming EPICURE Hackathon: Python Meets HPC, taking place December 10–12, 2025, at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm.
This event will bring together researchers, developers, and HPC practitioners to tackle real-world Python + HPC challenges, optimise codes, and share best practices for performance and scalability. We’re currently gathering input from users on which projects they’d like to work on, to best tailor the hackathon agenda.
Why join?
- Collaborate hands-on with peers and mentors on real-world Python + HPC challenges;
- Optimise your own code or contribute to impactful open-source HPC projects;
- Boost performance: Learn best practices for scalability, parallelisation, and profiling;
- Connect and network with the EPICURE and European HPC communities;
- Get feedback on your code and ideas from domain specialists.
If you have a Python codebase or computational problem you’d like to optimise, you can propose it for the hackathon via the participation form linked here.
Stay tuned for registration soon. The registration will be available here.
We hope to see many of you there — ready to code, collaborate, and innovate!
