GCS Info Event

Do you need compute time for AI projects? Is your workstation or university cluster too small? A new call for projects on the Gauss Centre for Supercomputing's systems will open soon. To support this, the AI Support teams from FZJ/JSC, LRZ, and HLRS are organizing an info event for scientists interested in AI-related projects on the GCS supercomputers, including:

  • JUPITER with four GH200 Superchips/H100 GPUs in total about 6000 nodes
  • JUWELS Booster with 3744 A100 GPUs
  • SuperMUC-NG with 960 Intel Ponte Vecchio Data Center GPUs
  • Hunter with 752 MI300A APUs

The call will be open 7 July-11 August 2025.

In our info event, we will provide the most important facts and practical guidelines how to successfully apply for compute time. We give you the most important hints and let you slip into the role of a reviewer.

Date: Friday, July 4 2025. 13:00-15:00 CET
Location: Zoom. https://go.fzj.de/ai_gcs_zoom
