EuroCC Italy is delighted to announce the third edition of the OpenFOAM Italian Workshop, taking place in March 2026. The event aims to bring together OpenFOAM Italian users as well as anyone interested in exploring the capabilities of this open-source CFD platform, and it is free to attend. Over the course of two days, participants will have the opportunity to engage with experts, exchange ideas, and build new connections while delving into current topics in High-Performance Computing (HPC).
The workshop will be hosted at the DAMA Tecnopolo in Bologna, the digital central hub of Emilia-Romagna’s “Data Valley”. This dynamic innovation ecosystem bridges academia, industry, and specialized expertise, offering researchers and professionals a unique environment to discover new talent and spark creativity in designing advanced products and technologies through HPC and AI-driven simulations.

The workshop invites participants to present their OpenFOAM projects. Contributions may include work in progress, preliminary results, or visually rich content, shared either through a dedicated poster session or a 15-minute presentation slots. This format encourages open, informal exchanges on methods, insights, and practical applications enabled by OpenFOAM.
