Event/Course Description

The aim of the training session is to provide participants with basic information on the GNU project and GNU/Linux operating system. In particular, the attendees will learn about working within a remote environment, shell scripting (Bash), and basic utility programs to manipulate data. The session includes a lecture and a practical (hands-on) session.
