Event/Course Description

The Autumn HPC School promises an immersive learning experience featuring insights from world-class faculty keynote speakers and experts, whether you’re new to HPC or looking to deepen your expertise. We have specially designed sessions for newcomers to high-performance computing (week 1) and sessions to further develop your workflows.

Courses during the Autumn HPC School

Week 1 (29 – 31 October)

  • Supercomputing Primer I & II
  • Introduction to Supercomputing + Filesystems

Week 2 ( 4 -8 November)

  • Managing multiple job submissions with QCG-PilotJob
  • High Performance Deep Learning I & II
  • Energy Aware Simulations
  • ParaView for (remote) visualizations
