This is an introductory training workshop for industrial users which is going to take place in person in Training Hall №105 in the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies (IICT-BAS) in Sofia, Bulgaria on October 12th from 14:00 to 17:00 local time (EEST). The course will be delivered by an experienced team from IICT-BAS/NCC Bulgaria within the framework of the EuroCC2 project and will include the following topics:

• Introduction to parallel programming;
• High Performance Computing (HPC) systems;
• Message Passing Interface (MPI);
• Hands-on using MPI;
• Tour of the HPC Centre at IICT and presentation of the new petascale supercomputer HEMUS
